I just got back from the hospital after getting surgery done on my jaw and am not allowed eat solid food for two weeks.. agghhh!!

I have no restrictions on what I can eat bar its consistancy (am allergic to fresh fish though- tinned is fine).
I'm going to make soup, but that for two weeks will drive me nuts.

Was thinking mashed potatoes with some well softened up veggies mixed/mashed in might be an idea, noodles too.

Anyone else got recipie suggestions that are easy to eat with very little if any chewing?

My drunken cooking. Boil up sweetcorn in the microwave in a little excess water with a dash of chilli powder and butter, then mix in instant potato on top. Michelin star stuff there

Mushy marrowfat peas & butter. NEVER buy the ready mushed peas, they are just waste, all the fibre is stripped from them.

Any packet soups with a pack of instant noodles thrown in.

Have a look at my last suggestion in the easy peasy recipes thread, few mushy soupy ideas there.

Although soups can be dull, maybe try something like this Gazpacho recipie for a change - even though the weather isn't quite ideal for it ;)

I know you didn't want soups but this is truly a great recipe, it is so thick that it is more of a stew.

baby food is fairly mushy. friend of mine makes some sorta cauliflower/spud/carrot puree that looks rank but the child love it.
