from the promo it seems that the counter is finally gonna run down to 0, tbh ive been waiting for it since i saw it, its like the big red button in father ted just want to see what happens:D

what do you think will happen?

will it be a dooms day scenario?

will it be fine? like the millenium bug fiasco which turned out to be a load of cockles

or will the counter not run down to 0 at all? so prolonging the agony?

nothing will happen yet.........i think something bad will happen though with what ever is covered in the concrete

that or the ESB come round demanding to know why the button wasnt pushed again to keep the meter going.

I hope we see something interesting with the blast doors... Hatch goes into lockdown mode and some of the survivors are trapped inside, some trapped outside...

Taking the guns outside the hatch might have been a good thing because if the hatch does into lockdown they'll still be able to get at the guns from outside to defend themselves from the others if they do show up

If annthing does happen it'll be at the end of the episode when the counter goes down then we'll have to wait till like 3 weeks time to see what actually happens .
Or maybe they'll start hearing disturblin noises coming from behind that massive concrete wall thingey

The losties will have failed and the scientists will trminate them and that'll be it......unless zeke and co. step in and save them................hmmmmmmm

or.

the satellite unable to track the coordinates of the island sends an alert to the base of Hanso et al who send a bunch of Ethan esque baddies in sort it out.

I don't know but Lost is really beginning to annoy me.. They keep on making you more curious.. I hope they begin to clear up one or two things.

yeah lost is starting to brown me off a wee bit, prolly cause my cousins in the us cant give me the whole series all at once anymore i have to wait.... and boy do abc make you wait!

I thought this was going to be speculation, but instead you told me in the very first line what happens in the promo for the next ep - something i was careful to avoid. Spoilers apply to promos too...

My guess has always been that when the button is missed, someone else gets brought to the island. I think this fits pretty well with the concept of this episode too, from what I've seen of the trailer. I don't think that the argument between Locke and Jack will be a cliffhanger. Instead, it will be at the beginning of the episode, and the person they find in the jungle will be a new arrival, although they will suspect that he is a spy, and treat him badly.

Thats my take on it anyway. Who's taking bets?
