Whats the story, one blew up a couple of blocks from me, they seem to be only warnings against particular people but as people have been saying if someone was walking past at the time ?!?

What happened to the person they arrested on the motorway, who else are they arresting like yesterday!

I think the bombs are used to frighten people. If they wanted to kill you, you'd be dead.

Yeah but the authorties are saying its the CIRA who never professed any ceasefire or disbandment... it must be fundraising for them to stoke trouble up north later.

THe guy on radio did say that it seem to be sort of getting underwhleming coverage and statements aswell.

I have familly living around the corner from the bomb blast last night and they said they were woken up by it. That is scary! Far too close for comfort. I'm all for putting all these lads in a big field filled with guns and knives and bombs or what ever they want, with only the last man standing allowed to leave!

Guy was from Blanch, was on bail at the time of the M50 incident. He was arrested for that, put on remand, and a few days later received something like 2 years for the offence he had been on bail for.

A little pedantic, but I think what they're actually saying is that they think it's individuals who are members of dissedent groups selling devices, not the actual groups themselves.

I think that's partially because they haven't killed anyone yet, and partially because the devices have been pretty pathetic. I find it hard to believe that dissident republicans are constructing them, they're that amateur-ish (which is obviously a good thing).
