Has anyone successfully used a Netgear TA612V with a wireless broadband connection. I have wireless broadband from DigitalForge and the TA612V from Blueface. I can make and receive calls but voice traffic only comes in anything I say does not reach the recipient.

Did you manage to connect your wgr614 to the TA612V and get VOIP to work.

Has anybody out there managed to get the TA612V to work on a wireless broadband connection.

    Hi,

I'm not exactly using wireless broadband but I have managed to integrate a wireless access point with the TA612V and maintain QoS.

I have NTL BB. My config is as follows:-

NTL BB Modem connected to WAN port on TA612V

TA612V LAN port connected to LAN port on My D-Link DI-524 wireless 4 port router. WAN port is not used on wireless router.

I have a fixed PC also connected to a LAN port on the D-Link router and a wireless PC connected.

    Important:
    Leave the TA612V setup alone...
TURN OFF router function of Wireless router if possible.
TURN OFF DHCP on Wireless router and manually set it to an ip address within the TA612V subnet but outside its DHCP range.. eg. 192.168.61.200.

The Netgear TA612V then allocates IP addresses to any wired or wirless PCs connected and takes care of all routing. The D-Link DI-524 only acts as a 4 port switch and wireless access point.

Not sure if this is what you were asking or not! I think you were more concerned with VOIP over your wireless connection to your ISP?

    Good Luck!
