Ebay Suspension

I got an indefinite suspension from Ebay. The buggers won't answer my questions. Anyone know how long 'indefinite' is for them?

I had a dvd for sale that was unauthorised. Me and 3 million others! Unfortunately I got caught!:(

They normally give you a warning and delist your item.
The fact of the mater is you were selling an item that wasn't yours to sell if it was a copied / pirated version of a dvd. If Ebay allowed this they would be breaking the law by being in collusion with you by taking a cut from the sale.
You will have no choice but to open a new account.
If the DVD is an original you are entitled to sell the item but this must be made clear in the ad. If it is an original but from a different region it may be breaking the rules also not sure on this.

And if it was a pirated / copied DVD then my friend you are screwing someone the artist , record company , DVD store etc etc.... :rolleyes:

It was actually a copy of an Irish tv programme that appealed to a limited audience, not a copy of a movie. Such righteousness! Like you've never bought a copied cd/dvd? Give me a break.

In fairness. You broke the terms and conditions of Ebay.
"everybody else was doing it!" is no excuse.
Don't bother signing up a new account, as that is in further violation of ebays rules.
Thats what happens to criminals.

You did something illegal and got caught and now your moaning because your abbnned from selling on eBay! Whats your point.
