    Found this foam lying round the house, im pretty sure its epp.It is extremly durable havent managed to break it yet:.is there any where I can get big sheets of this stuff or cheap combat planes made out of it.:D

    EPP is undoubtedly very durable, but it is also very heavy.
    You can make strong models from it but personally, I don't like their flying characteristics.

    White foam or depron are much lighter, and are good for flying models.
    And fibreglass, Kevlar or carbon fibre are far stronger, allowing thin wings that fly beautifully.

    Also, don't forget the obvious choice...balsa. It is still the strongest natural material, strength for weight, cheap, and wonderfully fast to build with.
