    Hi few of us looking for a get away. Somewhere southwest/west. Hoping to find an Island holiday on one of the smaller islands just to get out of work for a weekend and wander around and get drunk. All mid 20's from Kilkenny.
    Any suggestions please:D

    Isnt there supposed to be a 24 hour pub on Tory island. could have been shut down since though. also it is not in the southwest.

    Achill...long journey but no ferries involved, you just drive over a very short bridge. Lots of places to eat and drink, fantastic scenery. Westport 30 mins away.

    Valentia Island in Kerry or the Dursey Island in West Cork. The Dursey involves a frightening trip on Ireland's only Cable Car from the Mainland out to the Dursey itself. If ye are into fishing and get fine weather the Dursey is a Mecca especially for Pollock and Mackeral
