    Pretty specific stuff, AFAIK.
    Made by Brocock (http://www.brocock.co.uk/), I think they fell foul of the last gun purge in Britain.

    Essentially it is a self contained compressed air cylinder and pellet housing shaped like a centrefire cartridge.

    They are primarily used in converted revolvers, but there was also an air rifle on the marked that used them. They were very popular in the UK as they looked and functioned very much like a cartridge revolver, but could be owned without a Firearms Certificate.

    The problem was it didn't take an awful lot to convert the Brocock Air Cartridge revolvers into something that could fire a conventional cartridge (however unsafely). This earned them some very bad PR in the UK and led to their manufacture and sale being banned in 2004. Existing owners could get an FAC for them and keep them, but thats about it.
