    http://www.e-nvi.com/

Has anyone ever heard of this crowd? We've just put a deposit down on a new house, and these are the people the developer has decided to use for TV providor.

I posted about this on the Television forum already, and they sugested I try the good people here. I've never heard of them, so any info appreciated :)

    Get a satellite dish
See the ICGDopedia for lists of free channels. Over 50 TV and about 70 Radio.

TV aerial for RTE / TV3 and TG4

Forcing people to take a particular supplier is against the law.

Your area may also have Digtal MMDS as an option.

Getting free or nearly free Sky install with a minimum 1 year sub is good value too as you own all the gear and get all the free channels from day1. (about 800 channels).

e-nvi sound like a small time broadband supplier. I can't comment on the quality of the TV offering, But all the pay TV providers do at least 3 times as many channels. NTL/Chorus Digital Cable offers about 100 ch with high speed broadband and phone with no Eircom line rental.

Digiweb Metro offers high speed Wireless Internet and phone line with no eircom line.

With a 80cm dish and motor (300 Euro total equipment cost, install extra) you can get legally get about 1400 Free TV and 1200 Free Radio channels in Ireland. No subscription.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think I want to stick a big ugly ole satalite dish on the side of my shiny new house :) I know thay're not that big anymore but still I don't like them.

I don't watch that much television anyway once I have the basics I'm happy (incl Channel4 bbc etc) and the E-nvi site says you can get all the satalite channels via it's cable service in any case. So really what I'm trying to find out is if anyone has any experiences with E-nvi specifically, just so I can find out what I'm letting myself in for with regard quality of picture, quality of service, value for money, etc.
