PC keeps going on Standby at startup!

Hi lads, its not my week for computers. My PC at home is a Packard Bell, 1 year old. My prob is I recently moved house and reset up my pc as before. Ive used it a few times since with no problems but it started to mess me about then.

When I go to switch it on all looks well, the blue light on the on/off button goes on as does the little red power button but after 5 seconds it goes into what looks like standby mode and wont budge. This happened before but i managed to get it to start eventually through much on/off button pressing! Its just stuck in standby mode now, unless i pull the plug of course. Any suggestions? Cheers

With the machine off, push and hold the power button. After a few seconds (maybe 5sec) the machine will power down.
    Now power on as normal.
