If you have a decent phone on ready to go it can be cheaper to "upgrade" to new cheap one that takes the same battery, like the nokias. You get €80 credit or so, and the phone & battery cost less than that.

Ebay is amazing - I've bought genuine batteries for my 7250i and my mothers 3310 for €7.50 each including delivery.

Rubadub - very true - if you need two or more batteries for a high end phone like I do on trips its good value.

commited - great when you get genuine batteries - last one I got on ebay turned out to faulty.

Just seemed good value compared to whats offered retail here.
