Lip piercing - strange

hey i notice that one of my lip piercings is a little weird. wheni take out the ring, and pull down my lip to see the inside, where the hole is there is like all white flesh instead of pink. its kinda hard to describe but i have it done nearly a year now. is it gone through a nerve or something? if anybody has an idea of…

It sounds like a keloid scar, go to whoever pierced it originally and ask them what the story is if you are worried.
