an Italian friend of mine is coming to ireland to work on a 4/5 month project. he wants to know what is the maximum he can earn and get his tax back per year? I remember I used to apply for tax back after working in summer jobs, just wondering can he get this being an EU citizen.
    thank,
    penny

Unless I'm very much mistaken he'll only accrue Irish tax credits while he is resident in the country and as such won't be able to claim any extra tax back. Summer students can claim tax back as they accrue tax credits every week through the year. He won't be in a position to do this.

The best way to get a definitive answer would be to contact entemp and ask about tak credits for visiting workers.
