The new Bruce Campbell movie, which he directs as well as stars in, is due to be out this year. Evil Dead fans who have been campaigning for another sequel have gotten the next best thing......the plot sees Bruce mistaken for his character Ash, which leads to him having to fight real monsters. I hope there's a boomstick and a prosthetic hand!

Edit: Here's the plot outline according to Bruce Campbell Online:
They Call Me Bruce is the tale of a small town set upon by demons after a group of teenagers unwittingly unleash an ancient curse. Campbell, playing himself, is kidnapped off the set of a B horror movie and, despite his protestations that he's just an actor, is forced to play the role of his heroic movie character in order to save the town. Mark Verheiden (The Mask, TimeCop) is writing the screenplay. Production is scheduled for early 2006 in southern Oregon.

I really liked The Mask so hopefully Mark Verheiden will do another good job on this one.

Sweetness. The last thing I saw Bruce in was some terrible B-Movie so crap, not even he could save it.

This could be quite possibly the greatest Movie ever. I'd love to see Bruce and Rami team up again to make a Jack of all trades movie

Not a very original title though.

Does anyone else remember the films They Call Me Bruce and it's sequel They Still Call Me Bruce?

They were about a Korean guy who travels to the US and gets mistaken for Bruce Lee...

I'd completely forgotten about those films until I saw the title of this thread...
