Proxy Server Problem

    Hi all,
I just got broadband which is working perfectly except for one small issue. I used to connect to my college server to access databases when I was on dial-up. I entered the appropriate info into the lan settings and while I can logon to the proxy server I can't access any of the databases because my IP address is not recognised. I'm using a belkin wireless modem and router. Any ideas?

i'm in trinity and the proxy config settings are correct. When I open IE it looks for my username and password but the various trinity databases aren't recognising my ip. Strange thing just happened that I was able to access the websites. I logged out to see if the connection held but when i went back online the same problem occured.

that's very strange. so trinity's server is letting you in but not allowing access. they're obviously adding the "Forwarded For: " header so there's not much you can do about it.

Thanks anyway Red Alert. I might go into Is Services and ask them about it.

I think I know what the problem is now but I don't know how to fix it. In System information-internet explorer-connectivity the proxyoverride is set to local host. Anybody know how to change this?
