My 3rd attempt to get Sky Digital, need advice

I have decided to try get sky digital again but not from sky directly as the engineers that came out were cowboys and wasted my time with lies and excuses. (happened twice by the way)

I have decided to get it somewere else instead. I tried dixons but they were no help. So i was just wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction for getting this installed. Price wise and time wise. I am in the dublin area.

Tony who posts on this forum installed it for me a couple of years ago, No Bull****, arrived when he said he would and no problems since.

Thanks for the kind words guys but unfortunately I've had to stop doing the free sky offer as they got way behind on payments and the strain on cashflow became too much to bear.

I got Tony to do mine also. He even saved me money. I was planning to get sky+ and a sky mirror all together. So he told me to get Sky first, hence the install was subsidised. Then apply for sky+ the following day.

There's customer service for you.

Jesus youd swear sky didnt have the money, its always like this with big companys, quick to take payment, slow on giving money back, they make you do more paperwork also to slow things up.

Edit: Tony i cant pm you for some reason, your the only one that it happens to, but anyway im going to leave the new sky plus and hold out for the Sky HD box.

Good plan. I'd nearly do that myself even though it could be 2 or 3 years till I buy an HD display (probabily a projector). I think it will be a better Sky+ than Sky+ for ordinary Satellite.

With the Favorites EPG now (something possible 6 years ago, maybe opposed by Marketing) maybe there is some hope of abolishment of recording rental and adding "other channels" for record. I hope so, or I'll never get a Sky HD either.
