It's described as right hand drive but it is actually LHD so the seller is obviously confused. In that case it might be toastie's :D

mad, someone is actually bidding on it...

There was an 'Eleanor' lookalike at the Inistioge show in Kilkenny last year, don't know if it was genuine or a replica though, but it sure looked the part.

Yunno I still dont get this whole "Gone in 60 seconds " thing !! I mean the true original Shelby GT500's are rare and fantastic cars, so why did they
ba5terdise it for the film ??

Non original spoilers and kit, non original colour scheme, I mean surely its value is down to rarity and originality !

i remember lookin at the price of gt500s before and after gone in 60 seconds, and its only because the car was in the movie thats its fetching so much now.. some of them are fetching stupid money

    id prefer a 1970 mach 1
like in the original gone in 60 seconds..
but not because the car was in the movie, its just my favourite mustang shell

Yeah theoriginal film with the yeloow one with the black bonnet was cool, but the early shell is far sweeter IMO and more unique looking !

    Still I wouldn't say no !!

That's one helluva car for sale there. Must say it is 'cheap' at £70k, usually a GT500 would go for around £100k. Wonder what the reserve is?

I saw an original AC Cobra 427 going for $600,000 not to long ago on eBay. No one bought it though....

The 67/68 Shelby was what directed me from the 68 fastback towards the 69 sportsroof as the both have the shark front and the scooped boot.:)
