Integrating Partitions?

I've got a Hard drive which has 3 partitions, one has windows installed and the other two are just unused. See PIC here.

I was wondering does anyone know if its possible to integrate these partitions to get access to the full capacity of the hd without interferring with the already active partition.

I went to 'create partition>extended partition', I didnt go any further as I was thinking it may just create an extra logical drive when what I really want is a full single drive?

    Any ideas?

I don't think what your looking to do is supported by an option in Windows i.e resize partition. A program i've used in the past is Partition magic, works well but not to cheap.

Or do a fresh install of windows, delete the existing partition and create one full single partition.

IIRC you can resize NTFS partitions. Capt' Midnight knows how, search the windows board.

Throw what you need on an external drive, resize and copy back.

Partition magic will work, but you must have enough free space on the partition to be rezised to accommodate the data being moved.

IE I copies the data from the other partitions to a folder in the partition to be resized first. Then deletes the other partitions and lastly resizes the partition.

    [edit] Okay this might help:

Cheers SouperComputer the last reply in the thread you quoted seems to be my best. I'll probably run Ntfsresize on Friday and let youse know how I get on.
