I bought a DS off a chinese seller and its currently being sent by EMS, as far as i know the seller marked it as a $20 gift as he is use to doing this sending stuff over to europe. My question is, what do customs do if they see a package with $20 gift on it and think that this is a bit heavy and open it up and see a DS. Do they try and find out the value of this item over and here and work out VAT on that? What is their procedure for items that dont have a value marked on a box? I have a bad feeling ! ;)

Whats a DS? I get regular deliveries of about 2kg in a pretty large box with no problems. If it is a common item the customs men may know its value. An ipod is riskier than a, say cowon.
