Anyone know of any good tools to manage approx 200GB of mp3s, they are stored on 3 different drives. Any ones I have tried grind to a halt when I load in them all.

    TIA

and i suppose these are all "legal" mp3s now, hah ;) move them all onto a single drive would be the only way i can see them loading faster. What kind of drives have you got them stored on? Are they all USB 2?

of course they are all legal;)
Don't have a big enough drive to move them all unfortunately - one is the main disk, one is usb and the other is a slave disk.

    Cheers

Biggest load of crap ever invented. A real resource hog. I've about the same size collection as yourself and I've just got them all on a 220Gb hard drive in alphabetical order. Mates of mine create folders from A - Z and drop the albums in there but I prefer to be able to scan all mine in one go so just keep them in one folder. Have a separate folder for changes for instance if stuff isn't tagged.

What do you want to do with your collection?

    i use audigen from redchairsoftware.com..
you just add in the folders where your mp3's are and it keeps them in all in a database...it also allows remote access through your browser so it's very handy for this..
costs approx €15 and it includes lifetime free upgrades..well worth the money
