    Could somebody give me some information on how to set up a new charity?

    There is no charity registration in ireland (but they are talking about it). Some charities have Charity Status, but thats purely for tax purposes.

    To set up a charity/club/association you need a group of people with a common aim, and you need to constitute yourselves, i.e. draw up a constitution, and voila!
