Spybot Search and destroy

    Question... I have Spybot. When I 'Search for problems' the hardrive rattles for a few seconds then the window disapears... and thats it... no search no nothing. Has this happened to anyone else? The program just seems to stop after a second or 2 ...

    never happend to me.

    Any other unusual problems with your computer?
    Using latest version and all updates (imunization database etc.)?
    Do u have administrator rights on your computer?
    Windows version?

    Sounds very dodgy, maybe try some other software first and then try it again.

    Ewido Anti-Malware and Hitman Pro 2 are recommended.

    adaware and microsoft anti-spyware are also very good

    Cheers! I already have adware. Well, I resovled the problem... very unimaginatively (sorry guys)... i simply downloaded the newer version. Worked fine. You see i was a little suspicious at first that maybe some malware or whatever had disabled the feature in the previous version, but all my scans showed up nothing. So I just can say that maybe in the previous version I had, was corrupted on install....
