    Hi,

i use digiwebs dsl broadband, the bog standard 2meg down 256kb up line, with a zyxel prestige 660hw61 wireless router and a cable and wireless usb dongle (from argos)

i used to have bit torrent set up correctly thanks to portforward.com and i used bit tornado, this was when i was on with UTV internet, but i noticed that after the first line upgrade from 512kb - 1mb it stopped working, and i have tried absolutely everything to fix it, ive tried all the solutions offered here and on other forums and yet, all the clients ive tried using, bittornado/azeurus/bitcommet all still say i have a firewall/NAT issue,

im running winXP pro sp2 with windows firewall off and mcafee personal firewall on.
i have set rules in mcafee to let the traffic though and forwarded the ports on my router to my ip, could anyone please help me and suggest something im doing wrong

    :(:(:(

Change from the default port to something like 30001.

I had exactly the same setup, and problem, with azareus and my Digiweb/Zyxel. Finally got it sorted the other dy after months of trying, on and off. The problem for me was that the firewall option in the router config was on. If you just access the router, select the firewall option and turn it off, then forward the ports as detailed on portforward.com, hopefully it will start working for you as it did for me.

As a side note I also have Zonealarm Personal installed and I switch that off aswell, not sure if that makes a difference(must check).

    Hope this helps

thanks to everyone here for all your help, some really good suggestions, but it actually was the firewall on the zyxel router, thank you minimetro.
