Hi I have a picture that I want to use as my avatar on another board - how do I go about reducing the size (pixels) to enable pasting to my username?

You could try image resizer from Microsoft Powertoys - use the Advanced/Custom setting

In your image editor go to Image>Image Size and change the width and height to 32x32 pixels.
