    Thoughts people?

Have always been a huge fan of the Total War series. Hoping Medieval will be as good as it's namesake, one of the most enjoyable games I ever played.

I'm a bit torn. I'm a big fan of the genre, and had hoped to see a new battlefield. But medieval Europe offers the best and most interesting period I think. Lots of different factions with realistic chances at domination.

American Civil War era would be very limited, unless you have a campaign map spanning Europe and America. Otherwise, you only have a couple of significant factions. Maybe a spin-off game to deal with it, as it's not "Total War" IMO
