For me anyway. First day on Intra and its a wierd experience! Its been a very quiet day for me, hence I've plenty of time to mess around on Boards.ie but they assure me it'll get busier before long. Hope it does, 8 months of boredom will kill me otherwise!

Anyway, anyone else just after kicking off Intra and able to post a reply? Where they are etc? I'm in Ci3 in Dublin.

Got a job in British Telecom. Not hugely sure what it is I'll actually be doing because the job was originally as an IP Activations Engineer but I was told there was two jobs up for grabs the day of that interview and the other guy that was interviewing that day got that one.

My job will be making web applications but not completely sure what my actual job title will be.

Treating me well it must be said. Have my own desk, was told what to do and now I'm being let tip away at it at my own pace. Its grand.

Thay make risk management software. I'm in the marketing part of it, updating files mostly. Some secretary jobs. Its good, I'm still adjusting but I'll survive.

I know the feeling. Note to all pre-Intra people! The first week will suck cause you know no-one! Gets better though. Do you find it really lonely away from college? I did. Still do I guess.
