I need to pay my property agency with a cheque, but don't have a cheque book. Whats the thing I need to ask for when I go into the bank to get one...

Bankers Cheque is it? You know, you give the bank the money and they give you a cheque made payable to whoever you write on it and charge you a certain fee..

Also, anyone know how much it costs?

I paid 2.20 for one today in the bank of ireland - not sure if that is a standard charge or % based, but my bank draft was for 12k.
