    HI all,

I gave a mate of min my old DVD burner, a pioneer 106 recently. After connecting the drive i noticed that the drive couldn't read DVD data disks at all. However the drive has no problem reading CD-R's and audio Cd's. I did a bit of googling asi thought win98 might have a limitation but any article i read said that win98 supports UDF. Of course it could be that the drive may need a clean or got damaged on the journey over to my mates house.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

I think if the session is not closed it will not read the disc unless you have a UDF reader installed.
    This one for example.
