Saw an ad up this morning for a vox AD30 amp for €150, is this good value? Currently have a Marshall AVT 275, but to be honest its not the greatest sounding dealie in the world, and it FAR too big and loud for home practice. Also was looking to get a handle on using a few effects, and was planning on either buying a few pedals or the Boss ME 50. So my question is how good are the onboard valvetronix effects - specifically chorus flange and delay as ive already got a DS-1 and Crybaby.

Cheers for that, will have to give one a whirl first tho. Just read a few reviews there, seems to be sweet as a nut, but about as reliable as a shoe box

Your either too young or your forgetting the 1985 shoebox reliability scandel. There were thousands of casualties as failing shoeboxes dumped shoes all over the major cities. I can't bear to remember as I lost one of my shoes to a so called reliable shoebox. :(

Why did you have to bring this up? whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
