Tonight is opening night for the Kilkenny weekly satellites.
The venue is the Ormonde Hotel in the heart of the city.
Registration opens at 7pm and the cards will be in the air by 8pm.

Last night was a first for Pokerevents. A field of 24 players.

Although Fintan and company are used to much bigger fields the players involved battled it out for a prizepool of €2,200.
Waterford Danny took the first prize of €500 plus a ticket to the April 21/22 Super Satellite in the Ormonde worth €500.

This was my first time to take on the role of tournament director but I think all of the advice and lessons from Donal were well worth it. Next week I hope there will be a much stronger field as this is a fantastic venue.

This tournament will be run every Monday night in the Ormonde Hotel in Kilkenny City, the buy-in is €50 + €15 and there is one re-buy allowed.
