The omni shopping centre cinema in Santry used to have them too... haven't been there in a while, so I don't know if they're still there.

Do you have a girlfriend or are you just fat?

I fully agree. There are so many sarcastic S.O.B's around who get a laugh out of a immature comment

If you want to see arthouse movies, then I think the Screen cinema does.

Ah... I was only messing. I've met Ronano in the past... he's a slim little thing.

Those double seats were pretty neat though.. it's a shame more places don't have them. But I guess they can squeeze more people in if they don't have them.

    They have them in Drogheda

Ok you shook hands and said sorry.:) I remember the Savoy having them down the back years ago.

Santry seem to have removed some of them (i didnt get to see all the screens)... they were great for a lie-down if the film wasnt too packed and/or boring

Who else find Rhyme's signature annoying?

If you've a problem with it, report it to him by private message. Otherwise, stay on topic.

They used have the double seats in the Cineplex in Cork but they got rid of them too :(

Great post. Exactly what I was thinking.

On the subject of girlfriends, why do couples go to a cinema to cannodle? Why pay €10 each to not see a movie? Cant you do that elsewhere?

You haven't experienced oral sex until you've experienced cinema oral sex.

The smell of popcorn, nachos and hotdogs is a natural aphrodisiac too.

Its probably better than the back of a car down a country lane. Also less chance of getting caught by the cops. Also a lot warmer too!

Ive done the full deed in a cinema before, but on the private side of the exit door. Went in to a film then, but I was too chilled out to enjoy the film.

Yuck, doing it in a cinema. I mean I know a lot of people do it but what about th families? Someone think of the children!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,563 ✭✭✭connundrum

In the Savoy's Screen 3 there is still a double seat to the upper left hand side, but having worked there and found many used condoms behind it.. I would suggest one steers clear of the whole area - for fear of gettin pregnant etc :v:

    i worked in UGC

those chairs used to be covered in semen and other wired looking fluid. found a couple of johnnys up there before in the past.

it's best to stay away from two seaters and butter from cinemas. both are manky.
