    pfft. I'm far too cynical..but your hope is admirable.
    A complete overhaul of the system is required. So far, attempts to 'fix' the issue have been boycotts of a small number of well-known companies or dismal attempts at 'fair trade'.
    These large companies buy cocoa at International Exchanges and Ivorian cocoa is mixed with other cocoa making it impossible to tell which cocoa is slave produced.

    Sorry folks, but this forum is not here as a means to highlight slavery and unethical behaviour in the chocolate and sweets industry.... humanities is there for that!

    This forum is here solely for discussing the loves and joys people associate with snacks/sweets.
