    Hey

Just wondering if anyone knows much about this. I have a panasonic pwd6 plasma screen with a resolution of 852 x 480 or something like that. I know its not enough for true hi def but it has a vga connection. Will it look much better than on a crt? Anyone know how these kind of lower def plasmas handle the 720p output of the 360?

I'm only gonna buy a 360 if I can see a fair bit of a difference. Not sure I want to spend over a grand on a new LCD right now

    Cheers

Afaik, you dont get the 720p option using VGA, instead you get a list of different resolutions. Could be wrong though, plenty people here using VGA, so they can confirm or correct me.

I thought that the 720p output is done through the games?

It made a huge difference for me. I had a 32" CRT in one room, where the games didn't look hugely different to current gen consoles. With a VGA cable to my plasma (with the same resolution as yours), it looked far better, well worth it in my opinion.

Ah thats all I wanted to hear. As long as I can see some kind of improvement over a normal tv I wont be shedding out on a new lcd. Will get a friends console and give it a test run. Cheers
