What to get a guy for Valentines Day

Okay there have been alot of threads on what to get women for valentines day which is pretty obvious seen as though it is commercialised towards what to buy women.

We are going out for a meal and I know he will be getting me chocolates, flowers, teddy ect. But what do I give back to him? What do guys want in return? (yes i know what later on, i have that bit taken care of)

Suggestions please! It's really cracking me up.

He has loadz of aftershave, loadz of cds he doesn't play computer games! Sorry they are good suggestions i'm not shooting them down.

He is into golf and his car but i havn't a clue what i could get him for those, ne ideas? I have no clue about golf or what i could get him for the car.

I was thinking maybe underwear, clothes, a teddy? Is that a bit uninteresting though i dunno if he would be happy with that

Buy him a round at the Druids Glen/ Heath golf club, the finest in Ireland, bar a few. He'd enjoy that.

One of those mad racing day outs! You know where he gets to drive a rally car around a few laps, presuming he can drive and its a manual! Or else one of those flying lessons! They used to be in the Argos catalogue one time but not no more as far as I know!

As for Golf, How borrrrrinnngggg :rolleyes: Yeah I'm sure he'd love rubbing shoulders with 50+ men listening to dribble about house prices and the stock market. Golf is quite similar to a can of prunes. If I got that from a girlfriend it would be a date with a garbage can for her as she'd be dumped!!

Yeah i know I dont know how he plays golf at all! I always thought it was just for old men too.

Good idea about the day out stuff, i'll look into that.

Also is there anywhere is dublin for buying personalised tshirts or underwear that i could get his name printed on? Just a keepsake for him also cause i dont want to buy him a teddy (bear) it's a bit 'girly'

I saw a local barber shop advertising that it was selling vouchers for a 'hot towel shave & mini facial' for valentines day. I'm thinking that this might be a nice treat, but just wondering what the guys would think if they got it as a valentines pressie? I know my brother & his best man etc had it the morning of his wedding and they actually enjoyed it.
