So I splashed out today on a NiWiFi USB adaptor in Virgin (and then they made me buy it bwah!). Looking at the nitendowifi.com site, only 4 games appear to be WiFi enabled? Surely some mistake? Or is it just that it's early days? I thought the WiFi thing had been on the go since the DS was released - only 4 games seem very few after, what, 18 months?

Having said that, who here has played any of the 4 games, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Tony Hawk, Metroid Hunters (not for another month, apparently?). Never really dug the whole MK thing and TH is not my cup of tea. Animal Crossing, though, mmmmm.

The Wi-Fi service has only been around since the 14th of Nov. or something in the US. The 21st here, I think.

Yeah, not many games as of yet. There's a few coming besides the ones mentioned. You should probably look up the Wi-Fi connection on Wikipedia, there's a decent list there. The only Wi-Fi games at the top of my head are Tetris and Pokémon (Awesome).

Tony Hawk's isn't all that great, but it wasn't really for me. Never really tried it online, hardly anybody there.

Mario Kart's great, took me ages to not play it. Heh, I want to keep my record healthy, but too many 3 stars ><.

Animal Crossing is brilliant. Not out here yet, but I imported. Love it to death. The Online play adds greatly to it I think. Though, I haven't gotten the original yet from the NoE stars catalogue. I like the chat function in it. Don't see why they couldn't add a lobby to MK DS. (Note: There isn't a lobby in this game)

Metroid Prime should be good. Multiplayer was great on the demo. Also, from what I've heard it'll have Lobby support, and 7 Modes of play, with same MK Search types. (You know, Friends, Rivals, Continental, Worldwide).
