Hey,

Myself and some friends (all female) are planning to visit either Cuba or Mexico this summer for a few weeks, on a backpacking kinda trip...to see the sights, visit the samller towns and villages and get a taste of a very different culture. Does anyone have any advice as to the safety of these countries for women and which is more interesting/enjoyable to visit?? I speak Spanish in any case so there won't be a language barrier but it would be great to have the opinion of someone else who has already been...many thanks!!!
