im not one to critcise charity and the the fact that the machine IS giving something to charity but the machine donates €2 per month to the make a wish foundation.

€2, no matter how much they sell!

i personally think it is a farce, boycott it i say

OK, I didn't read what it said. I don't even like M&M's or Skittles!

Don't they need money to service the machines? I went up to it put in a 10c and it didn't work I got really frustrated and then realised it was 20c (but nobody in the Arts block would notice such stupidity anyway!)

Better than nothing, but they should really, morally, advertise that fact.

Plus the fact that you only get a measly amount. I was like, "Where's the rest of my skittles?" and the machine was like, "that's all you get, you fat bastard".
    Damn that machine I say.

it does publicise the fact that its €2 per month in small print on the back of the big sticker advertising it,

which coincidentially is why i made it my task to reverse all of the stickers so its showing the right way around that the company are a misely shower of misconceiving "£$%^&*

make a nice story in the trinity news if u ask me

I agree. Maybe we ought to be glad they're giving anything at all. How do we even know if they are, anyway?

well since its not tied to profits they probally are.... and realistically as has been said its a complete farce. Just an excuse to put down that its somewhat for charity.....though this seems to be a trend, i've seen it on other things before. I guess preying on people's wish to do something nice for charity, maybe they won't feel so bad about eating crap then ?

you know, i paid my 20cent and felt ripped off in the arts block.

then i was in the buttery and decided i wanted skittles. the feeling of being ripped off still hasnt left.

I only got five one time. VERY disappointing! If I were setting up something like that for charity, I'd wangle the sweets for free, and give ALL the money, that's how lovely I am!
