Was there in December and plan on going back in a couple of months because we bought the annual passes for the parks. Taxis are very expensive and when you come out into the arrivals area there will be lots of taxi drivers plying their trade. I think the train goes into Paris and you change to go to Disneyland, some of them do anyway.

I think the easiest way is to go by the VEA Disneyland bus. When you come out into the arrivals area get the lift (to your left) to the lower level, go to gate 16 and cross over to the Disneyland bus stop. It goes every 30 mins and drops you off at the Disney hotels.

If you are going to one of Disneys selected hotels ie, The Holiday Inn (lovely), Kyriad, MyExplorers or Movenpick the Disneyland bus drops you at the stop for the shuttle bus (goes every 10-15 mins) at the train and coach station by the entrance to the parks. No lugging bags. It's much more straight forward when you're there. The cost of the VEA Disneyland bus is Adult €14 Child €11.50 each way.

If you have any queries just ask. It's a great place.

The Train station is actually under the airport, get the metro out of the airport, this will bring you into the centre of Paris. Then change over to the RER ( kinda like the DART ).
I suggest you change at "La Defence" but the are a number of stations where you can switch as long as you get on the A4 line ( there are detailed maps in all stations ), this will bring you right to the gates of the park ( Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station ). The journey shoud take @1 hour and imo is the the easiest way to get there.

    Enjoy your holiday:)

Edit.. didn't know about the bus, seems easy. How long does it take?

Thanks for all your replies. We've been to Eurodisney in 2004 and 2005 but got the bus both times. Friends are going in April and we were wondering if the taxi would be cheaper. I'll tell them about the train, how long does the train take??? The bus journey is about 40 minutes and last year cost about E28 per adult and E12 per child each way. Quite expensive if there's a gang going. Thanks again....

The bus is probably way easier than the train option.

If you do opt for the latter, the only place you can change is Chatelet les Halles (RER B to RER A). Journey time of 1h30 and cost of at least €12.

As posted above, the train takes 1h30mins w/ a change in Chatelet. It's a commuter train (RER) which can be pretty crowded... probably not the best way to start off a holiday.

The VEA Disneyland bus is €14 per adult and €11.50 per child each way. Thats what we paid for it in December 2005 and I have the timetable here in front of me with the same fares.

I think the bus is much easier than the train. It's quiet a walk with luggage from the trains platform to the shuttle buses. The bus in about 40 mins.

Hi! When I checked our bus tickets I realised I was calculating the return ticket for adult and single for children... must have been thinking subconsciously of leaving kid behind!!! Sorry about that. The bus definitely seems a lot less trouble.... I'll tell my friend.

What hotel did you stay in when you were there??? We stayed in the New York first time and the Sequeila Lodge the second time, definitely preferred the New York. We absolutely loved it there, we had our six year old boy with us and naturally he had a ball. Not sure if we want to go back again this year or try something new. Did you bring children with you??

We brought our 2 boys aged 10 and 8. When I logged on just now I was going to look up booking another trip. Has anyone gone the end of June beginging of July and if so were there long queues for the rides?

I was in the Holiday Inn last time and plan on going back next month. Rooms are about €45 a night which is a bargain.

We went in early June 2004 before the school holidays started, the queues were short and the park was enjoyably "not too full".

We went at Halloween in 2005 and the queues were ridiculously long on the Sunday and BH Monday (1.5 to 2 hour queues for most of the rides), but on the Tuesday and Wednesday it was okay. The schools were off but it seemed that once the weekend was over the park emptied by over half! If you're going during school holidays I'd advise you not to include weekend days in your stay.

Where did you get that bargain? When we went in December it was €92 per room per night including breakfast and for this coming June it's €108 per night

The TGV from Charles de Gaulle takes 9 minutes. You arrive in Terminal 2 (or whatever) and get the bus to CDG-TGV - probably takes 10 minutes. You queue for your train ticket and then get the TGV to Marne la Vallee Chessy. From there you get your bus to the hotel. We stayed at the Kyriad which was good value. It also had the benefit of being the first hotel on the bus (VEA) back to the airport (by the time it got to the Movenpick it was full).

EDIT: use fatpass wherevr you see it - for us the fastpass fot Peter Pan was excellent.

As far as I know you can get a combined train ticket/park entrance ticket at a reasonable price. I wasn't expecting much but Eurodisney really was excellent! The rollercoasters were especially fun :D
