I suggest you try the local circus :D

    Seriously.....
    - Probably most folks here have sourced their cars in the UK. So try
some of the classic cars mags, ebay or UK based MG clubs.

    - I think there's also an irish mg club so can seem to find anything on the web

    - Also try Buy&Sell, I saw a few on sale a few months ago

There's one for sale on the Irish MG Enthusiasts website:

    http://www.mgireland.com/Forsale.html

Also, Malcolm Elder has a couple for sale in the UK...

    http://www.vintageandclassiccars.co.uk/stockpost.htm

Or the UK clubs as previously suggested.

If you want to buy privately in the UK, there are a good number of magazines that you can check out but you can spend quite a bit of time and money before you find a good one..

There are some very good MG dealers in England....they include :

    www.mgcars.org.uk/formerglory
    www.mgmidgets.com
    www.croydonclassics.com

Of course, you will pay top notch.

The clubs are the best bet as in general (although not a rule), owners have a more enthusiastic approach to maintainance and usually a realistic price.

www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk is another good source of both dealer and private sales.

Malcolm Elder ( mentioned elsewhere ), these cars are not always his....he keeps many on his books 'for sale on behalf of client', so it is worth asking to talk to the owner before travelling. He is very approachable and has a good reputation, although some of his cars have been sitting around for a while.

Also, don't dismiss www.autotrader.co.uk and www.pistonheads.com. There are some real bargains here, but obviously buyer beware.

    Good luck.

p.s. Is the red 'G' plate 1275 in the piccies for sale?
