I bought myself a gig of ram from komplett a few months ago, every thing was running great for a short while then the pc slowed down. I thought it had to be a virus or something so I format it. It ran ok after formating it but still a bit on the slow side. I ended up buying another gig of the same ram when i put the ram into the motherboard the first time it runs alright reads that theirs 2 gigs of ram. It then crashes after awhile and wont reboot or even switch on. The ram I bought was Corsair XMS PRO3200 DDR-DIMM 1024MB

My motherboard is a jetway 939agp.
Has anybody got any ideas what I should do(maybe a BIOS update). Will I have to return the ram, If so whats komplett like to return to.
    Thanks

And if you take out the new DIMM does it work ok?

Yeah it works fine when I only have either one of the ram installed but if I put them both in it wont boot up. I tried in both slots 1-3 and 2-4. I put two old 256 pc2700 ram into the pc and that runs fine.

So if you put the new one in on it's own there's no problem. Wouldn't sound like a prob with the DIMM then. Are the memory speeds the same (PC3200)

The memory is the same part and rev number.
