Hey folks not sure if this is the right place , but I'm looking to rent a period home or small castle for a weekend, next year.
I have seen some websites and contacted some people and they have sent me info , but I'm wondering if any of you might have some info or details on hiring large properties for events.

I was at a wedding in Cloghan castle a couple of years ago.

Absolutely amazing, but costs a few thousand €€€ for the weekend.

    Irish Landmark

They have a number of properties, including castle. I've stayed in a few of the places. Nicely restored with lots of period furniture etc. Lighthouses are great fun to be in!

Wicklow Head Lighthouse is pretty cool, was there before and you can rent it out for weekends etc.

Yep, just don't get to the kitchen at the top and realise you left the mayo in the car. 127 steps down, 127 steps back up! :p

If you wanna go less commercial look at the castle Bodytonic used. PM me if you want the details. They ask you to donate to a fund for the upkeep of the place.
