possible to disable paging for a program

    I wonder if there is a way to control how XP pages program memory. There is an annoying feature of running large java applications, where if you minimise the application, XP will trim the working set for that process. Apparently when the app is restored, garbage collector kicks in and forces almost all virtual pages to swap back in.

    This is really annoying when using WSAD (websphere app developer) as on maximising the app (after min) it hangs for a while while paging occurs to load back in the stuff it needs.

    There is a sort of workaround where you use the 'show desktop' shortcut, but I'd prefer a better solution
