What is your favorite biscuit. When I get a few ideas I will make a poll:) , then the truth will come out.
My favorite biscuit would be at the moment rich tea. They are lovely with milk, I could eat packets of them a day. My old favorite was the Cadbury's cookies, but I taught they where not as nice as they used to be, so I stopped buying them, they were too dear as well!

    rich tea... cheap and cheerful.
classic taste that you never get sick of unlike other cookies/biscuits etc. where after a while they just dont deliver that taste sensation.

    rich tea ftw

I will update the poll options everyday, so come back and vote.

wouldn't that give rich tea and bourbons the clear advantage then?

I think a lot of people would say the hobnob, but recently I've come across a most superior being: the Oaty Crumble. Think hobnobs on crack!

Tough choice. It all depends if you have coffee to dip it in or not. If you have coffee then rich tea, if not burbons.

Ginger nuts are far superior to both rich tea and bourbons! And they taste great mashed into vanilla ice cream too

Do you ever find that Jaffa cakes make your jaw smart the first one you eat? I think it is because they are so sweet.

A disappointingly low amount of Shortie-love going round here.

Shorties are the perfect biscuit, they're delicious, AND nutritious. That may not be true.

Choco digestives, the ones in the long blue pack. They're the perfect size, ya dont have to break them in 2 to dip them in your tea, unlike McVitties ones ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,307 ✭✭✭ionapaul

Bourbons rock. Yep, I think they still make Marietta's, they are lovely. What are the ones with the flakes of coconut throughout - Polos? They are so tasty as well!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 441 ✭✭brown*eyed*girl

The pink ones are called Tea Time Wafers I think.

Also now that someone has mentioned it I havn't seen Marietta's around for a while. I had them with butter when I was younger too and if I was lucky some chocolate spread.

I like Toffeepops at the moment or Fox's Chocolate Chrunch.

Was a Bourbon Cream addict when I was a teenager but sick of them now. I used to have to split them in two and eat the cream off and then dip them in my tea.

Biscuits I'll never understand that anyone likes are Fig Rolls or Mikados YUCK!

Jaffa cakes aren't biscuits. The true test of a biscuit is that it goes soft when it starts to go off whereas cakes go hard. Jaffa cakes don't soften as they get old ergo not a biscuit. QED. They're still delish though.

Custard creams and Toffeepops ftw. Anyone who disagrees is either an idiot or Shabs/Simu, who are allowed to have more refined tastes.
