Holidaying with a 2 year old

Hello, can anyone suggest a good place to holiday with a 2 year old.

We plan to go around Easter, and would like a week’s sun & relaxation. This will be our first holiday with our son and would like a place where mum & dad can chill out in the evenings while our son is asleep. We don't mind chillin in our room, as long as he can sleep & we can watch TV/read/ have a few wines and not disturb him.

We need a place just a 2-3 (4 max) hours flight away and a short transfer away from the local airport.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated...:)

We went to Italy with our 2 year old and had a great time. Italians love and respect children - at the Vatican, for example, they skip you past the queue, and most places make allowances.

Im sure you know, but dont pick somewhere roasting where the little one will get sun burned, that wouldnt be any holiday for either of you :) Italy does sound nice.

My sister and some friends went to a caravan park in Italy, three couples with four 2 - 3 year old boys (one set of twins!). The park was extremely well equipped for adults and children, the caravans were fabulous. They all had a fantastic time... if you're interested I'll find out more details.

Have a great time by the way...:D

Sorry, for some reason when I paste in the URL it reverts to the search page. If you enter "holiday 2 year old" . Click on search for all terms, and select holiday, travel etc in the categories section and search it should work. No idea why it is doing that. Tried 3 times.
