I bought an item off ebay recently, from a german powerseller, who has a very good feedback rating. Unfortunately the item got misplaced in transit and I have been at him with the last few weeks, to locate or send me on another on or just refund me.
Eventually I got an email from him todaying saying that he got the item returned back to him, and he said he will refund me, but me asked for my bank account. Is this safe to give him my bank account number (not too well up on online money transfer), or should i just tell him to send the money into my paypal account..?

paypal is safer, but giving him your ban account number should be grand. Theres not a whole lot people can do with just your account number. Just have a look at his recent feedback ratings, make sure his account wasnt hacked recently or anything.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think i will go the paypal route first and see what he says, still a bit suspicious of giving out bank acc. no.
