Upgrading slightly

    Hi,

My girlfriend wants to play Battlefield 2 but her spec's are below minimum.

She currently has a 2800+, which I think personally is okay, but a rather pathetic 256mb Ram and a 128mb 9200se.

Her psu is a non standard piece of rubbish (its a hp pc) so I can't put anything too beefy in there. I'm thinking of the following:

Changing the 9200 for a 9600xt (as it doesnt need be connected to psu, best card available that doesn't)
Upgrading the ram to a total of 768mb.

Is there any point going more then 768mb Ram when already limited by the 9600xt? All she wants is to be able to play battlefield at about 800x600 with most options on medium, shadows, aa and lighting can be off. I'm pretty sure the 9600xt, 2800+ and 768mb ram would handle this fine.

Are there any other semi decent gfx cards that don't require a psu connection? Any thoughts on the whole setup?

    Thanks.
