Can't believe the run of luck I had on this. Went out 115 with pocket aces... Not slow played... Three all ins qq jj ... Q hits. I would have been on 52k and chip leader. At every point that I was all in or pushing I was ahead. With runner runners finishing me off. Two outers etc etc.

See above HJ had a horrible beat as well.

Crippled again by a steal attempt.

Blinds were 300/600. I limped utg with KK. Raise by UTG+1. Late position moved all in for 7k. I came back over the top. UTG+1 folded and he shows 59o. Flop 678. And im back down to 5k.

Just doubled through with QQ. On 11k. 80 left.

70 left now. Im about average stack. Chip leader is on 94k though. Sigh.

At the 2nd break now. 60 left. Need a double through very quick. Card dead since last edit. Blinds are now crippling and 2 big stacks just joined the table and are calling any moves with A rag, K6, Q7.

Mintman was at my table for a long time with 45k or so. Played 1 hand in an hour, then moved.

Just doubled through to 20k. Called all-in with AT. he had A9 and no bad beat. Pheewww. Stole with 89 there. Up to 25k and about average again.

A fe whands b4 probably led to my downfall. raised to 20k with 99. Had to fold to a reraise all-in from an absolute rock who'd been at my table nearl all night. Would have left me on the BB with 8k(blinds at 2k/4k)

What a depressing way to go out in 23rd though, to the monster that is 25o, though i played it terribly so my own bad really, and the guy made a great call:

Was a gutsy call from that kipper MrMular. (I see he finished 6th for $640)

I went out around 110th, found AKs - blinds 150/300 - I had about 11k, I raised it up to 1k, guy calls, SB folds, BB calls for the additional 700.

Flop comes down K 10 2 rainbow - BB checks, I bet 3k, guy calls, BB folds.

Turn - K

...im suddenly thinking of what this other guy could have, and decide if I get put out this, then its not meant to be. So I decided to repeat my bet of 3k, he immediately pushed all in, leaving me with another 4k to make this call.

I had to hope he would turn over KQs, KJs, muppet re-raise with A 10 etc. - but no such luck as he turned over 10 10 - and made quads on the river, putting me out with my measly full house v his quad 10s for a 24k pot.

It was the 1st time I'd seen it anyway, and there were two on last night.

I actually had nightmares about that hand last night.

For one, I should have called with 99.

Secondly(though it's easier in hindisght), no raise preflop means I'm saying I don't have much. No bet on the flop, weak turn bet and river looked like a blatant steal, bluffing into someone who had me well covered. My reasoning was i'm only just at the table, so the guy has no read on me and must give me some respect as he has only got 8k in the pot. Apart from thsoe 2 hands, I was very happy with how I played. I got very weak around the bubble on 35k because I was determined to get something out of it. I folded my BB with Ako to a blatant steal with 29 players left, but I did cahs in the end so I'm happy, but unhappy if that makes any sense.
