Further to my disussion about bots the other day, i coincidentally had a mate give me the above program (don't worry i wouldn't have paid for it)

it tracks the other players and the way they are playing and seperates them into fish, rock's, loose-aggressive types etc, the main handy bit i think is the running stats, telling you what odds you are to hit your flush and ur pot odds etc, i know it's all pretty basic but nice to have in front of u if pressed into a decision (short of time)

it also pretty much tells you what to do every hand, short of actually doing it for you, does anyone have any opinions on these sort of programs? are they the same as your opinion on the bots (ie pretty useless with the exception of limit holdem games?)

also, i presume this is the exact same as a bot except it doesn't do it for you?

    looking forward to the responses!

I'm pretty sure that the larger poker sites would quickly suspend your account if you used it (and similar programs) on their tables.
Most (if not all) do not allow 3rd party software to be run alongside their poker client.
I read on 2+2 that Party (maybe others) have the ability to look at the processes running on your computer (MSN, MIRC, potential bots, etc.) and use this to find cheats and colluders.

IMHO I'm happy for poker sites to clamp down on software like this. Apart from my beloved Pokertracker that is.

Doesn't this do the same as PokerTracker or one of those other things that works with PokerTracker? I think these things are probably useful, but I don't use one.
