Anybody have any recommendations, have done all the usuals/Harvey's/peats/did/Powercity/Richersounds/dixons/currys, did I miss any. The brothers otherhalf would like a new gogle box and is not to stuck on brand. Pc's range of crt's seems to be getting smaller in favour of lcd's and from what I can see Rsounds dont even do crt's. So just wondering if anyone has bought lately or could recommend a brand/model,or maybe some here has a brand new one they want to shift:D

Bought a 32" Phillips crt bout 4 years ago. It was the one with the wirless rear speakers. Excellent set, touch wood, never had a minutes trouble and the picture with SKY is brilliant. It was around €1600 then but I reckon one can be had for less than half that now. Good Luck

Just bought this bad boy from D.I.D.Its 100mhz and 1/3 slimmer than normal CRTs.They have it on order so won't be able to report for a couple of weeks.Looked amazing in the shop and saves a bit of space too.I'd be cheeky enough to say it hada better picture than mot of the LCDs in the store, the ones that weren't that weren't displaying seriously clear HDTV promo DVDs mind.

Cost me 700 including stand, they probably still have it in DID Blanch.

Bought a JVC 32IN H5SR before christmas for just under €700.00 nice set. The pool of CRTs is shrinking. See this forum in relation to the Samsung http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054847240&highlight=samsung
