Try argos but you won't get much for that sort of money. You'll need to spend at least €50-€60. Try www.specialdays.ie they've got a really good selection.

Was just about to reply and say special days...last time I went past their shop in Liffy Valley they had a load of sale deals on sets ...there was quite a good one for Texas Holdem'

Also Dunnes had some clearance offers from stuf left over on poker sets they were selling at christmas.

Smyths toy shops had them for €50 for 500 (I think 13.5g) and they come in a nice silver brief case, along with 2 decks of cards. They also sell them in stacks of 50 for €7 or €9

Smyths are the best prices. I shopped around at Christmas (including Special Days - sorry mcaul) and they had the best range and prices.

The fitzwilliam card club near merrion square were selling great poker chip sets before Christmas. I'm not sure if they still have them but they were great value at 40euro.

I was just in Smyths and they are:

    €50 for 500 (11.5g)
    €35 for 300 (11.5g)
both of these come in a silver briefcase, including 2 decks of cards

    or

    €5 for stack of 50 (avail in 5 colours - 11.5g)

Don't most players prefer 9g chips over heavier and lighter ones for some reason?
